Walmart’s Black Friday 2019 sale event has come and gone but ahead of Cyber Monday, Walmart has been busy dropping some early sneak peeks of its deals. After Black Friday has wrapped up, Cyber Monday and Cyber Week are easily the best time of the holiday shopping season to find the best deals online from the comfort of your bed.

This year, we expect to see the best discounts from Walmart on 4K smart TVs, wireless headphones, and Nintendo Switch consoles. The good news is that many of these deals are available right now, and with so many bargains already online, be sure to check back on this page often as we update it with the most recent offers.

Walmart deals going on now

Walmart is no stranger to offering constant discounts on pretty much everything it sells, but on top of those daily low prices, Walmart’s Savings Center also features regular rollbacks, special promotions, and clearance sales. It’s to be expected that you’ll find Walmart’s best deals and biggest rollbacks during once-a-year blowouts like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but early Cyber Week shoppers can still score plenty of these unbeatable prices on many items right now (and for some time after the big sales). If you do see a smoking hot deal on something you’ve been wanting in the run-up to Cyber Monday, don’t sit on it: Walmart changes up its “sneak peek” pre-sale items regularly, usually rotating them out after a few days at the most — if they don’t sell out first, of course.

What to expect from Walmart

Simply: A veritable truckload of 4K TV deals. Walmart has always been one of the big players during Cyber Monday and Cyber Week with great discounts on iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, video game consoles and accessories, and a cornucopia of other electronics that will be on sale throughout the holidays and after, but Walmart’s 4K smart TV deals have remained largely unbeaten in recent years with an enormous selection and (more importantly) almost always the best prices. Just remember: To get the very best deal on that 4K TV you’ve been eyeing, our advice is almost always to buy it directly from Walmart and not from one of the many third-party vendors that are selling through the Walmart Marketplace. thankfully, you can easily filter out these Marketplace sellers in the sidebar on Walmart’s online store.

Walmart initially managed to retain its crown as America’s retail king last year with the most impressive Black Friday numbers of all the major outlets, but this big-box megastore ended up falling into second place behind Amazon when Cyber Monday rolled around. Walmart has been greatly improving its online offerings in recent years in an obvious effort to beat Amazon, and this year, you can be certain that it won’t stop dealing out the rollbacks through Cyber Monday and Cyber Week. Given this intent to take (and actually hold) the number one spot this holiday season, we’re expecting an unstoppable landslide of deals from Walmart through Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday 2019 that will continue until Christmas and probably even into January.

What Walmart did last Cyber Monday

Leading up to, during, and immediately following Cyber Monday last year, Walmart was incredibly responsive to the prices of items on sale from other stores (this mostly means Amazon, but we’ll also include Best Buy, Target, and B&H, among a few others). We saw a ton of rapid price movement on Instant Pots and Google Home Mini smart speakers at Walmart, to name just two highly popular purchases; when products of this sort sold out on the website, Walmart was fast to highlight other stuff as well as similar things from other brands, often making instant price adjustments when necessary to keep the attention of shoppers and to stay competitive online.

Yet Walmart’s biggest weapon in its online retail arsenal — and one major advantage it has over its main competitor, Amazon — is local store pickup. Local pickup works in two ways: When you purchase an item on the Walmart website (i.e. from Walmart itself and not a third-party seller), you can almost always choose to have it shipped to a local store where you can pick it up at your leisure. People who don’t want packages sitting on their front steps until they get home, for instance, or shoppers who already visit their local Walmart for groceries or medication, might like having the option of picking up a certain purchase in-store.

Another advantage that Walmart shoppers can enjoy is free two-day shipping on a ton of items, whereas free shipping from other stores is often considerably more sluggish and may even require some sort of paid membership fee (we’re eyeballing you here, Amazon) if it’s even available at all. Also remember that when online inventory is running thin or something has sold out completely, a Walmart store close to your home may still have the item — no shipping required — meaning you can order it from the website and then go pick it up the same day if you like. Every listing on Walmart’s website points out the local inventory, if available, as well as your choices regarding store delivery.
